The shape of the LowPro Veg is also new in the Spectrum King product line. The small distance between lamp and crop, which is a prerequisite for Vertical Farming, requires that the light is generated from the largest possible surface. The light output of the LowPro Veg is therefore divided over four bars of 105 watts each. This brings the total footprint to 120 x 120 cm. This considerable cultivation surface is completely provided with a very even light, without harmful hotspots or light decrease to the sides. And this with a hanging height of only 20 cm. This shape has two other pleasant side effects. Firstly, there is the advantage that the generated heat is also generated over a large area and is therefore very easily released to the surrounding air. Second, the ample light distribution casts far less shadow between the underlying foliage than would be the case with a point light source.
