Although the VYPR 2p looks the same as the VYPR 2x, the purpose of use is essentially different. Where the VYPR 2x was developed for use in greenhouses, the VYPR 2p is intended for use in spaces where there is no natural light. Think of growing in light-tight sheds and growing crops in storeys (Vertical Farming).
Indoor cultivation lacks natural sunlight, so the plants have to make do with the light that is artificially produced. A professional way of indoor cultivation therefore places very high demands on the type of light and the quality of the grow lighting. As far as the latter two are concerned, you can be assured that the Fluence VYPR 2p meets the strictest possible requirements, for the simple reason that this lamp is the best of its kind.

The VYPR 2p is a very powerful, extremely reliable LED grow light that is composed of the very best parts. All Fluence products - including the VYPR 2p - use the latest LED technology from Osram and Samsung laboratories. Due to the lack of moving parts such as fans, these LED grow lights do not make any noise and the reliability and lifespan increase. The passive cooling does an excellent job, given that it dissipates up to 40% more heat than the average passive cooling from other brands.
The VYPR 2p is designed for commercial use, but of course also looks great in a modest growing environment. Amateur growers can therefore use this LED grow light with a professional product that delivers top performance.

Tests done by Utah State University (Utah, USA) have shown that the VYPRx is 21% more energy efficient than the most economical LED grow light from a previous study and is 58% more efficient with its power than a professional HPS system with the same light output.
